Who we are

Contact us at driveropspro@gmail.com for privacy requests or support.

DriverOps Pro is provided by Jacob Thomas, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Jacob Thomas is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service, under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

  • Account details (name, email, login credentials): to create your account and let you sign in. Legal basis: contract.
  • Subscription status (plan, renewal dates): to give you access to what you paid for. Legal basis: contract.
  • Support messages: to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Technical data (IP address, device and browser type, basic usage logs): to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Your driving records (shifts, mileage, vehicles, clients, invoices and business details) are stored in your own browser on your device. They are not sent to us.

Who we share it with

  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Service providers who host the app and our database and handle sign-in.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We never sell your data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open, and billing records for as long as tax law requires (usually 6 years). After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or move your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. We respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and restricted access controls.

Cookies and local storage

We only use essential storage: to keep you signed in and to save your records and settings on your device. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
